U.S. Supreme Court protects Dreamers

For the second time this week, the U.S. Supreme Court delivered a strong victory in the name of justice and fairness.

Today, the Court upheld the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program, protecting about 700,000 young Dreamers, who were brought to the U.S. as children to live and work, from deportation.

We count many colleagues and friends among those covered by the DACA program, and today’s decision gives them comfort and reassurance that they can continue to build their careers and lives with greater certainty. There is no doubt that these young people — Americans through and through — should be entitled to pursue a path to citizenship. We will be a better company and country for it.

America is a nation of immigrants, built by immigrants, and our diversity makes us stronger. We should do everything in our power to attract the best and brightest — and keep them here.

These young people, truly Dreamers in every facet, are among the next generation of America’s leaders. We will continue to fight for them and for sensible immigration reform because not only is it the right thing to do, it’s good for business and good for America.
